The church prays August 1st

Just tearfully read through my emails. There are so many people praying for our dear Larissa. I'm blessed by your concern for her. Northlake is making Wednesday a day of fasting and prayer on her behalf. I'm blessed to be part of such a caring church family.

The Long Road traveled to this point:

Larissa started her missionary work in Cambodia in 2005. She had planned to stay at least 5 years however in September of 2009 she was too ill to continue working.

She came back to the states and has been to 19 Doctors since then trying to recover her health so she can return to her mission.

We have witnessed Larissa's decline in health, slowly at first but now more rapidly.

She has constant headaches, is so weak it is difficult to get around or do anything, has severe bouts of dizziness and chronic fatigue to the degree that she never feels rested of energetic. If she tries to do normal activities the headaches increase in intensity and she gets weaker. Larissa has gone from 105 pounds down to 86. She describes it like being a 26-year-old trapped in an 80-year-olds body.
